2002 Ireland The Education (Welfare) Act The Education (Welfare) Act provides guidelines for attendance in the period of compulsory education and the rights and responsibilities of parents in relation to the education system. A National Educational Welfare Board has been established to oversee the enactment of the provisions of the Education (Welfare) Act, 2000.
